Schoolkart.com is India's leading online marketplace for School Supplies and we are on the lookout for a stellar candidate to join our core Leadership team with a focus on Sales, Business Development and Operations. We aspire to build India's largest Online Marketplace for School Uniforms, School Shoes, Stationery, Books, Sporting Goods, Accessories, Services and anything to do with School needs of children and parents. Schoolkart.com looks to build and create a first of its kind national distribution channel for school supplies (B2B and B2C).

We currently have over 400 premiere schools from Delhi/NCR on the platform through some of the largest and most reputed sellers. We are scaling rapidly and continue to add more and more schools, sellers and brands to the platform. We have about 75,000+ products for school kids. On the B2B, we have more than 500 school clients from across 100+ cities.

The key responsibilities as a part of the role will include :

- B2C sales involving clients such as Publishers, Distributors, School Supplies Sellers, Vendors and Brands

- Relationship building with Sellers, Brands, Schools and other entities such as non-profit organizations, other ed-tech companies and more.

- Develop internal, external leads, arrange meetings, presentations and provide progress reports on regular basis. Develop, manage and guide Sales activities for the organizations. (Extensive local travel will be required).

- Identify and utilize effective promotional and marketing efforts to include research, telephone prospecting cold calling, referral incentives, and networking.

- Assist in the design and execution of the Sales Plan and Strategy. Undertake Offline and Online Sales to meet Sales Targets.

Qualifications & Requirements :

- 1 to 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably selling to the School/College/University Market, or minimum 2-4 years industry experience in Sales, Business Development and Operations.

- Ability to quickly connect with others and demonstrating exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

- Ability to self-direct and work independently.

- Microsoft Excel/Office, Spreadsheets, Data Analytics, CRMs etc.

- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. Passion to deliver a positive customer experience; Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations

- Must be able to build strong client relationships and professionally manage internal and external stakeholders, with an ability to prioritise time, ability to pushback and a sense of urgency.

- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise in order to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.

What to expect:

The position is based out of Delhi/NCR.

Salary Range: Market Standard Salary + Incentives
