Business Development Associate


About Us :


- Schooler is a SaaS-based educational software solution to simplify the life of institutional administrators and teachers so that they can focus on the most important thing: educating our children. We are bridging the digital divide in education by offering Schooler products and services.

The Role :

- We are looking for an energetic business development associate to help drive our sales and grow the business. You will reach out to potential customers in the education sector, such as education institutions, training centres, etc. and build solid relationships with all customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conducting market research and identifying potential clients and business partners.


- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.


- Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.


- Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.


- Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database. Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.


- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.


- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Compensation & Benefits :

- Commission of 25% to 35% over Net Profit

Where,

Net Profit = (Sales Price of the product) minus (Base Price of the product)

Sales Price of the product -> Price at which Sales Rep sells the product

Base Price of the product -> Minimum price set by the company


Suppose,

- The Base price of the product is Rs 1200 per student and Sales Price of the product is Rs 1800 per student.

- Then the sales representative commission is, (1800 - 1200) x 25% which is Rs 150 per student.

- Assume, if the school is having 1000 students using the product then you will get Rs 1,50,000 per school.

- Strictly a commission based job with a contract role of 1 year
