IT Sales Lead - Business Development (5-15 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Generate new leads for the company and pursue the closure of the leads for software development projects
- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy
- Own and hit annual sales targets across all territories
- Identify and grow strategic accounts and acquire new accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients
- Serve as a key member of the executive team that sets the company's strategic direction
- Review and enhance the sales process, improve conversions and win ratios
- Lead sales presentations and communicate the company's value proposition to clients
- Manage complex sales cycles with many stakeholders
- Fully understand the services offered in emerging technologies by the company
- Build, mentor, and manage sales and business development teams
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Experience of 5-15 years in sales and at least 5 years in software services selling across multiple countries
- Bachelors/Masters in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Computers, or comparable discipline
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound understanding of technology & software development methodologies especially as relating to developing custom software for customers
- Demonstrated hands-on work approach.
