Job Description for Business Development Associate

We are looking for a competitive sales executive to develop sales strategies and attract/ add new clients. The candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside sales representative, or sales agent, they will also research sales competition.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1) Need to understand the products and services offered by Samvi / Amazon and be able to train the sales and services associates on it.

2) Need to identify and prioritizing valuable sellers and select them for Samvi Services.

3) Planning and executing sales events and training aimed at gathering seller leads.

4) Meet personal sales targets.

5) Track and Monitor performance on a daily basis, scheduling appointments with sellers.

6) Cataloging needs to get done for the Manufacturers & Retailers and guiding them through the initial orders.

7) Own and manage integration of portfolio of sellers being launched in their respective region and ensure that they are getting trained as per our expectation.

8) Ensure launching the sellers as per their weekly and monthly targets.

9) Responsible for order fulfillment and other performance parameters for all sellers.

10) Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.

11) This position is based out of (Location) and will require travel to locations assigned by the company for conducting workshops aimed at gathering seller support.

Skills Required:-

1) Proven sales experience

2) Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.

3) Knowledge of E-Commerce vendor on-boarding

4) Understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India with prior interactions with sellers and distributors is desirable.

5) Computer use Competency

6) Strong Communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

7) Self motivated and driven.
