Sales Professional - Techno Commercial - Niche Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Firm (5-6 yrs)

- Our Delhi headquartered client is a world-class manufacturer of custom-built electrical panels and switchboards for over 5 decades. It adopts futuristic technologies, best available raw materials and global manufacturing processes to ensure zero-defect quality as well as safety and reliability.

- It supplies products across all segments and geographies. Some of its prestigious clients include IBM, Hyatt, ITC Hotels, The Oberoi Group, among others. It has an annual turnover of hundreds of Crores and is headed by an alumnus of Harvard Business School.

- As a Techno Commercial Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for arranging technical clarification from customer for tendering queries.

What you will do :

- Coordinating with Tendering Team for timely & techno-commercially correct offer submission

- Accompanying STL for techno-commercial negotiations wherever possible

- Coordinating with customer for his techno-commercial compliances wherever required or advised by STL

- Filling & compiling design input, negotiation sheet, tender document, FOS with final costing and all ISO related documents

- Coordinating with OMG for SO creation

- Making vendor approval submittals

- Coordinating for receipt of advance from customer as per PO terms

- Coordinating with design for on time drawing submission incorporating all negotiated design inputs

- Ensuring timely drawing approval

- Ensuring timely release of drawing for planning, procurement & manufacturing

- Coordinating with OMG & manufacturing for customer inspection

- Attending all consultant & customer in absence of STL during inspection

- Getting Bank Guarantee format from the customer

- Getting above format approved from finance department

- Coordinating with finance for timely submission of BG

- Retrieving expired BGs from the customer as per input from finance and handing over to finance

- Ensuring collection of all commercial documents & compliances as per inputs from the finance

- Ensuring submission of all documents to client, needed for release of payments as per PO terms

- Tracking & follow up for the payment

- Coordinating with client for expected schedule of ETC

- Ensuring our customer care meets the client requirement

- Coordinating with Customer Care for commissioning & final handing over report along with feedback for our and client records

- Updating of all ECL & sales data in SAP for monthly reports

What you need to have :

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline

- Strong technical understanding of the products or services offered by the company

- Familiarity with industrial equipment and systems is a plus

- Prior experience in a sales or business development role is preferred

- Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders

- Ability to participate in techno-commercial negotiations and assist in the resolution of customer queries

- Proficiency in document management and organization

- Ability to compile and manage various technical and commercial documents

- Strong organizational and project coordination skills to ensure the timely submission of offers and documents

- Understanding of ISO standards and the ability to ensure compliance with ISO-related documentation

- Familiarity with SAP or similar software for tracking and updating sales data
