Role: - Sales & Marketing

Job Description: -

Team member will be responsible for sales & marketing of Multi Commodity (SEEDS SPICES AND F&V) Trading for B2B. Understand customer requirements, making/sending/follow up of proposals, Tender preparation/follow up on order execution till payment receipt. Interacting with internal functional teams to coordinate, contribute and prepare for development and delivery of proposals in response to business opportunity. Take complete accountability of sales & business development across multiple region.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Identify sales prospects and contact these to realize the prospect and develop business to meet the organization growth strategy in terms of an agreement and closing sales successfully

- Lead a meeting with potential customers for new business - forward & backward market linkage

- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made & present sales achievement - Target vs Actual in revenue generation

- Effective communicator and Negotiator with buyers to finalize deals & transactions to meet effective operations of order fulfillment - i.e. from order placement to delivery of goods and collection of payments from buyer

- Prepare presentations, proposals, marketing materials, sales contracts and accumulate market intelligence from different sources

- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge like product specifications, costing and pricing of agri-commodities in national and international market index

- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships

- Find & Create a buyer's network across geo through multi-mode strategy - through physically/digitally

- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services and manage custom clearance, transportation

- Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities and prepare daily reports as per management directives

- Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all commodity for domestic and international market, rationalize product portfolio to build competencies, relevant or unique selling points and benefits in person, and via telephone calls, videoconferencing and emails

- Maintain accurate records of all contracts, contacts with customers

- Build long-term partnership with customers and manage buyer grievances

- Maintain high standard of personal presentation and Trade lead generation across different regions

- Obtain confirmation of order, procurement of goods and agri-inputs

- Make strategic partnership with supplier/vendor and/or buyers

- Accountable for addition of positive revenue generation and meet the given target number assigned across multi commodity trading business and assuming P&L responsibility

- And any other duties assigned during course of time

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Postgraduate in international business & marketing with hands on experience in multi commodity trading business

- Must have experience in profit making center

- Must have prior experience in business development and marketing & sales or multi commodity trading

- Excellent verbal and written communications in English
