Sales Leader - EduTech (7-12 yrs)

The Role :

Responsible for all new business development and revenue growth in India/Europe/ROW (Outside US) geography from pipeline development to deal closure. It is a leadership Role responsible for selling our EdTech services and products, position the company's brand and understand the apt solution which resonates with the market and educational space. Internally works with stakeholders to craft the winning strategy and guide the internal team with inputs to put up the right strategy and response.

Responsibilities :


1) The Person will help position the company as a premier provider of EdTech solutions and services for the EdTech, Publishing Industry.

2) Developing territory plans and strategies to identify key prospects for Companies clients within the assigned geographic territory.

3) Develop working relationships with evaluation consultants, partners and influencers.

Developing account plans for key clients to identify areas of opportunity and go to market plans.

4) Establish relationships with key client executives to create excitement for Company that results in greater awareness, credibility, and business opportunities.

5) Work with internal stakeholders in pursuit of business opportunities.

6) Become a trusted advisor with key clients by displaying deep subject matter knowledge of EdTech services and products and relevant case studies.

7) Attend trade shows, associations, conferences as appropriate.

8) When required, and qualified, respond for RFIs and RFPs.

9) Lead the engagement team in establishing and presenting competitive and winning proposals.

10) Update and track all sales activities in companies- CRM system.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

1) Minimum of 7 years sales experience and familiarity with account management in the EdTech/Publishing space.

2) Have a ready Rolodex and existing client relationships which can be used to sell companies services.

3) Someone who understands the EdTech space and its facets - especially in Europe/ROW landscape.

4) Experience in selling complex solutions of consulting, Content, and technology services, and LMS/SAAS based applications.

5) Experience in leading diverse teams through a positive, collaborative approach in developing and selling client solutions.

6) Experience in working with cross -sectional and geographical dispersed teams in previous organization.

7) Track record of over achievement of Scorecard and building long sustained client relationships.

8) Prior experience with top 5 publishing companies would be a plus.

9) Maintaining a high client retention rate through strong senior executive relationship skills and leadership.

10) Energetic and passionate to achieve goals and client loyalty.

11) Strong business orientation, judgment, and acumen.

12) Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

13) Strong intellectual horsepower and curiosity.

14) Good analytic and organizational skills to help focus time and energy.

15) Able to think outside the box and accept nothing less than the best possible solution for each and every deal he/she leads.

16) Experience with strategic consulting, Technology services, Content Engineering, Accessibility services within an EdTech domain would be a PLUS.

17) Ability to communicate and work at the - C- Level of complex organizations.
