Job Summary :
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for handling customer inquiries, coordinating project timelines, and managing orders. The role requires strong communication skills to handle customer needs and maintain relationships that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer Service & Sales Support :
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries, providing information on product availability, pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Prepare quotations and send to clients.
- Address customer issues or complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Order Processing & Coordination :
- Process sales orders in coordination with production and logistics teams.
- Monitor order timelines and coordinate with production to meet delivery schedules.
- Keep customers updated on the status of their orders and any changes to delivery schedules.
3. Documentation & Reporting :
- Maintain data in excel of all leads received and status of leads.
- Maintain all sales-related documents like quotations and purchase orders
- Generate reports for management review on sales metrics, lead times, and customer feedback.
4. Team Collaboration :
- Collaborate with internal departments (production, logistics, quality assurance) to ensure on-time project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to the production team on any specific customer requirements or changes in project scope.
5. Continuous Improvement :
- Identify and suggest improvements in the sales and order fulfilment processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any field
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support or coordination, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing is a plus.
Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
