Sales & Business Development Role - IT (5-7 yrs)

Job Description for Field Sales:-

- As a Business Development you will have an exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape- the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include increasing cloud adoption,and- market penetration across high potential start-ups, mid segment & enterprise accounts.

- The ideal candidate will possess both a business development and technical background that enables him- or her to engage at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. 


- He/she should- also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business- objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities :

 Exceed set business objectives : 

- Develop and execute against a comprehensive regional plan.

- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

- Manage, guide, and influence direct reports to enable them to sell as per set targets.

- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around cloud services.

- Work closely with AWS team to extend reach & drive adoption.

- Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure- solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc),Web &- Mobile solutions, BI, Data Warehouse, Big Data & Analytics solutions

- Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports using CRM and other tools

- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

- Ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of technology related sales or business development experience.-

- A technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience required.

- Direct field sales experience in working with top enterprise accounts across your assigned territory a- must.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills.

- Extensive customer & contact network.

- Sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure or SAAS (Salesfource.com, or similar) solutions a bonus.

- Fluent in English & another language

Preferred Qualifications :

- BE/ME/MS degree required. Masters or MBA a plus
