Candidates with experience in Furniture / Interior Products / Hospitality / Commercial sales and a strong existing will be viewed most favorably. In addition, we seek candidates who have the personality and display the ability to thrive in a highly-dynamic work environment because at Restoration Hardware, - fast is as slow as we go- .

The Business development manager will be responsible for generating new business within the database of existing clients (mainly architect's and Interior Designers) and also is encouraged to bring in new connection with the design and real estate and hospitality community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare target sales plan to achieve the quarterly and annual sales and margin goals.

Qualify, lead, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted strategic residential accounts and leads generated through the other marketing executives within the organization.

Partner with account management team to make sure all client and project needs are met.

Regularly maintains relationship with the clients assigned.

Regular keeps all clients (Architects & Designers ) update son the newly launched collection.

Able to reach the right level of decision makers to drive and execute strategic wins with defined residential installed product categories.

Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports as required.

Work with Category specialist and designers to complete the proposal and to convert this proposal to a sale.

Perform other duties as requested.

Respond to inquiries positively and professionally, and within the timeframes defined.

Report all key communications and activities directly to the Managing Director of the company

Must be able to travel 30 percent of the time ( Within Bangalore City ) in order to keep in touch with all associated clients

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field (equivalent level of experience will be considered) or a design degree with experience working in the field of design

Minimum 3 years of successful outside sales experience in the in the similar line of business preferred but not mandatory.
