Role Description :

Purpose of Role: To ensure accurate and effective planning for right merchandise in right quantities to reach stores in time with right pricing. Responsible for optimum fill rates in stores through effective space and assortment management

Support the Buying team with efficacy reports, insights into competition performance, trends, sales review and pricing

Key Tasks:

- Review weekly sales achievement and trends to anticipate future products needs

- Work on developing store-wise product assortment and sales plans in line with regional consumer buying patterns

- Ensure that store level assortment range is as per plan and in discussion with Buying team in order to be able to achieve the set target

- Liaise with Demand Planning team to agree on stock in-take plan including new product introduction

- Monitor stock allocation - liaise with inventory planning team to ensure that the merchandise / products are procured and moved as per plan and made available to stores in time

- Undertake productivity analysis to monitor brand pricing, assortment at store level, brick level performance and shop drop

- Support business with efficacy reports based on all tracked parameters to enable right buying and merchandising decisions

- Support team with analytics and insights for Weekly and Quarterly Business Reviews

- Develop and undertake store visit rhythms in order to interact with end customer, monitor implementation of planogram / assortment plan and gain insights into regional preferences or any peculiar buying pattern of a given catchment area

- Evaluate market and customer information together with historical data and forward trends to develop the category's phased plans

- Support decisions on stock transfer between stores with validated data on store-wise availability of stock

- Agree and deliver promotional and marketing plans / communication (both ATL / BTL), optimizing sales and profit

- Develop Visual Merchandising plans highlighting promotions

- Extend support in executing and managing store level activities that support the overall business objective / target
