Relationship Manager- Fixed Deposit

Position is for Relationship Manager - Fixed Deposits. - Location - Mumbai - Prabhadevi

Grade : AMII/MI

Salary : upto 6.5 lacs 7 lacs

Qualification : Graduation/ MBA

- Sourcing of deposits (fresh+ renewal) from brokers and open markets

- Ensuring renewal of fixed deposits, and 5% direct deposits

- Responsible for empanelment of new brokers, per month

- Managing broker empanelment program per quarter and maintaining broker activation

- Coordinating with payments team for timely payment of invoice as received

- Ensuring that FD receipt is delivered to the customer on time

- Training of branch employees on deposit

Ideal candidate for Relationship Manager / Fixed Deposit :

Financial Product Knowledge :A perfect RM is a candidate who has a well versed knowledge about Financial Products. Yes, it's not just the knowledge about FD which will make him a suitable candidate. Presently the customers have a plethora of investment options thus until the RM doesn- t knows the financial products well he won- t be able to present FD before any other financial product, thus making it difficult for him to sell FD.

Distribution Knowledge : He must understand how does the distribution channel works, like who are Corporate brokers, Retail brokers.

Knowing Competition : A thorough knowledge of completion is a must. He should know the respective ROI in competition, their market share, their broker strength etc.

A sub broker base : A candidate who have an existing set of Brokers under him shall find it easy to set up a distribution base.

The best sector to hire from : The best experience an RM should have is of working in a financial distribution firm like Mahindra, Asset Management SMC etc or from the firms who is selling Fixed Deposits like HDFC Ltd., DHFL etc .

Whom to avoid : Candidates from Banks, Candidates from wealth channels who are only handling client portfolios.
