Relationship Manager - Investment Banking (2-10 yrs)

1. Relationship Marketing- The process of creating, maintaining and enhancing strong, value-laden relationships with Customers and other stakeholders. Relationship marketing is based on the premise that important accounts need focused and continuous attention.

2. The purpose of marketing is to establish, maintain, enhance and commercialize customer relationships so that the objectives of the parties involved are met. This is done by the mutual exchange and fulfilment of promises.

3. Focus on integrating customer service and quality with a market orientation. Focus is on getting and keeping customers Concept of total quality across all functions. Need to focus on total relationship between KPM Asset and its customers, suppliers and key markets on an ongoing basis.

4. Today's customers face a growing range of choices in the products and services they can buy. They are making their choice on the basis of their perceptions of quality, service, and value. Candidates need to understand the determinants of customer value and satisfaction.

5. A major challenge for high-performance companies is that of building and maintaining viable businesses in a rapidly changing marketplace. The candidate must have the capability to recognize the core elements of the business and how to maintain a viable fit between their stakeholders, processes, resources, and organization capabilities and culture

6. To create customer satisfaction, companies must manage their value chain as well as the whole value delivery system in a customer-centric way. The company's goal is not only to get customers, but even more importantly to retain customers. Customer Relationship Marketing Executive provides the key to retain customers and involves providing financial and social benefits as well as structural ties to the customers. The Executive must have the capability to decide as to how much relationship marketing to invest in different market segments and individual customers, from such levels as basic, reactive, accountable, proactive, and full partnership. Much depends on his/her capability in estimating customer lifetime value against the cost stream required to attract and retain these customers.

7. For the purpose, Candidates will have to understand the project requirements and conduct a preliminary feasibility, prepare project proposals, define approach, co-ordinate with the business development team, incorporate additional client requirements and prepare status reports for management. The person will have to demonstrate exceptional ability to understand new businesses, articulate views and findings, provide data-driven and analysis-rich deliverables deriving strategic insights as per the client requirements and must be adept to working in a dynamic business environment. The person must be excellent at planning, controlling, execution and implementation. Candidate will also be required to provide clients with solutions to their ad-hoc critical business issues.

8. Senior Consultants will have added responsibilities : project planning (for self and reporting team members), team leading/management, monitoring work progress against the engagement plan, maintaining project documentations as per required KPM ASSET quality standard and prepare the required deliverables in the prescribed format.

9. Other responsibilities include data collection, project management, presentations, and documentation of related processes & procedures.

This position is also responsible for analysis, routine and ad-hoc reporting to support the decision-making functions of KPM ASSETS- leadership and senior management. This position acts as a pivotal resource to service the line managers for key initiatives.

Individual Requirements:

1. 2-8 years experience in M&A/Marketing/Business/Operational/Strategy/Management Consulting in an Investing Banking firm.

2.Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with post graduation qualification such as MBA/CA/CS/CFA will have an advantage.

3.Candidates working in a consulting company would be preferred.

4.Independently executed/supervised at least 4 Marketing assignments.

5. Experience in handling assignments in at least 3 to 4 industry segments

6. Able to multi-task and function within established time frames for deadlines.

7. Extremely detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual presentation of information as well as idea.

8. Excellent research, analytical, presentation, numerical and problem solving skills.

9. Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis.

10. Knowledge of project reporting tools for performance monitoring, presentation to executive boards and senior leadership.

11. Ability to partner with BD teams to understand client problems and marketing strategies; should have Business Development acumen and ability to identify Business Development opportunities.

12. Self-driven with a high level of motivation and energy; a strong can do attitude; ability and willingness to work in a small and fast growing set-up.

13. Excellent written and verbal communication.

14. Possess strong finance domain knowledge as well as understanding of key business processes across multiple industries.

15. Ability to create and manage the project schedule while providing updates and mitigating issues that be identified.

16. Must be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and have a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement.

17. Ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

18. Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time.
