Relationship Manager - Business Development - MNC Business - Wholesale Banking IIM/XLRI/ISB/JBIMS

The MNC Wholesale Banking team caters to the Corporate Banking requirements of MNCs based in India. These banking requirements cover the entire gamut of Wholesale Banking products including Short term/ Long term credit facilities as well as Transactional Banking Products, Forex flows, DCM and Corporate Finance. This business group covers all MNCs irrespective of their size and also interacts regularly with the parent treasury of these companies based overseas in addition to the Treasury/CFOs/CEOs of the local subsidiaries.

Job Role:

- To solicit, acquire and develop new accounts within target list in the segment by analyzing their banking requirements as per the budget

- To be responsible for account profitability and ensuring that delinquency is minimal by regular monitoring of the customer accounts

- To monitor and deepen accounts on a continuous basis

- To maintain existing relationships with the clients in the segment

- To interacting with other business units like credit, operations, retail branches, legal etc. and networking in markets by meeting consulates, trade chambers of commerce etc

- To maximize profitability by driving higher spread achievement & effective cost management

- To help the risk team in defining the credit lending norms & the key risk parameters, supporting in evolving an information exchange system with group companies & developing mitigating mechanisms in case of skips/defaults

- To engage in cross functional committees for proposal evaluation, pricing decisions and other growth initiatives

- To ensure that periodic functional & behavioral trainings are imparted to all team members

- To motivate and identify top talent, formulate plans for recognizing fast trackers and building a strong second line of managers

- To continuously undertake retention initiatives by promoting performance linked incentive structures & policies

Job Requirements:

- Qualification - CA/MBA in finance/ Marketing.

- Skills & Experience -

- You will be a post graduate with at least 1-4 years of relevant experience in corporate lending in a bank/NBFC

- You should have excellent business acumen, strong analytical & presentation skills

- You should have excellent negotiating skills, superior leadership attributes, a positive & proactive attitude, a strong industry network, strategic vision & high customer service orientation.

- Additionally, you should have sound product knowledge across the gamut of secured and unsecured wholesale lending products

- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- You will have the ability to influence and drive stakeholders.
