Regional Vice President - Sales - Tied Agency - Life Insurance (8-12 yrs)

We are looking for Regional VP -- Sales Tied Channel with one of the leading Life Insurance Company with Min Exp of 8+ years based in Chennai

Responsible for multiple Clusters/Area operations, support in building capacity and capability in individuals, ensuring the training requirements to the Sales Force across the Region. The incumbent should also support the organization in driving key initiatives and growth.

- Responsible for entire Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, will operate in Multiple Area/cluster for the key deliverables & operations (Will have 5-10 Clusters/Area for the entire Tamil nadu & Pondicherry)

Overall responsible for ensuring all sales targets for the Region are met with.

- To allocate the Cluster/Area target quarter/month wise.

- To periodically review the progress (Area wise- monthly; Branch wise-quarterly) and suggest corrective measures, if any.

Building Capacity:

- Drive the field force on recruitment of Agency and Sales Managers.

- Overall responsible for capacity building at Regional level

- To emphasize on talent retention and managing attrition.

- To maintain the high morale, satisfaction and engagement levels of the teams, by providing and fostering right environment.

Training & development:

- To ensure that training requirements for all Sales Force are met according to the requirement and challenges faced on the field.

- To identify and develop the potential branches and individuals towards greater heights like National Contests and MDRT etc.

Internal and external interfaces:

- Provide feedback and suggestions on initiatives/ changes required in regional operations- to the leadership team at Pan India level.

- To maintain regular internal interface with Customer Service for policy issuance;

- Interface with Support Functions as Marketing Operations for collaterals;

- Finance for payouts related

- HR for Employee issues, engagement and growth;

- Legal with legal ad compliance issues;

- Training for training of SMs and advisors and Sales Support for Sales MIS and contests etc

Strong leadership qualities and ability to coach and mentor others

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Aggressive with drive and high energy levels with demonstrated ability to mentor/ lead a team of Area Managers.

- UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization; PG - MBA - Preferred

- Experience of handling bigger bandwidth and Senior Managers grade employees

- Candidate should have 8-10 years- experience in the Life Insurance industry worked in middle management or above role

- Must have handled Branch Managers or Cluster Managers in the previous assignment
