Regional Sales Manager - Pharma (5-7 yrs)
About the Role: The Regional Sales Head is responsible for driving sales growth and managing sales operations within a specific geographic region for a veterinary pharmaceutical company. This role involves leading a regional sales team, developing and executing regional sales strategies, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
I. Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify regional market opportunities and tailor strategies to address local needs and conditions.
II. Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives and managers within the region.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide training and support to enhance the team's skills and effectiveness.
III. Sales Execution
- Oversee day-to-day sales activities to ensure effective execution of sales plans.
- Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and distributors.
- Handle major negotiations and contract discussions with key clients.
IV. Market Analysis and Planning
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Use insights to develop and refine regional sales strategies and plans.
V. Sales Forecasting and Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for the region.
- Track sales performance against targets and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
VI. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns and provide solutions to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
VII. Collaboration and Coordination

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Veterinary Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on the pharmaceutical or veterinary industry.
- Proven track record of managing a sales team and achieving sales targets in a regional role.
