Regional Sales Manager - IT (1-10 yrs)

Job Description:

- A mid-management sales leader who effectively manages a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) / Key Account Managers (KAMs) under his region.

- The RSM is responsible to manage multiple states in India.

- The RSM is responsible for business growth in the assigned region.

- Engages in developing strong relationships with the key partners and evaluates channel opportunities in the assigned region.

- Effective team management includes regular sales review of team members, enabling team members to develop new growth opportunities, periodic feedback gathering & insights sharing, and functional training.

- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.

- The RSM leads the team in channel expansion efforts to enhance product reach in the market.

- The RSM analyzes market trends and accordingly designs and implements a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.

- The RSM assists the Zonal Manager (ZM) to prepare monthly /quarterly sales plans and thereby also assigns sales targets to the team.

- Excellent channel partner management is another key aspect of the role that includes regular visits to all partners and devising innovative means to maintain healthy relationships.

Role Requirements :

- 5-10 years of experience in Channel Management in the IT Software / Hardware Industry

- Added advantage if worked in SME Software space eg: ERP (Tally, Busy, Marg, Zoho), HRMS, CRM.

- Should have managed independently one or more states of India.

- Should have managed a team of Area Sales Manager (ASM), and Key Accounts Manager (KAM) for at least 3-5 Yrs.

- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time

- Should possess a track record of at least 75% of QoQ -Quarter on Quarter target achievements

- Should possess and understand Channel Partner distribution

- Should have excellent communication skills, people management & sales funneling skills

SALARY PACKAGE -10 LPA TO 15 LPA
