Regional Manager - Life Insurance


Position - Regional Manager- Partner Acquisition, Institutional Alliances

Role : To handle new partners/ banks / MFIs/ NBFCs acquisition at the regional level

Key Result areas :

- Acquisition of the new NBFCs/ HFCs/ Banks / Fintechs as corporate agents

- Increase the foot print of Life solutions amongst various financial entities at the Regional level

- Handling various tenders and preparation of the response document to these tenders.

- Ensure regular follow- up to the allotted corporates presenting various Life solutions with an end point objective of maximizing the sales revenue.

- One point contact for entry related engagement with these financial entities

Critical Competencies :

- Professional Degree preferably MBA from a good Business School

- Ability to develop relationships with the entire hierarchy of decision makers in potential partners

- Good understanding of the Life Insurance business

- High commitment levels and desire to excel

Measure of Success :

- Number of new corporate agents empanelled

Location : Bangalore

Handling Fintechs :

- Understanding of the Fintech landscape

- Preparation of the potential list of Fintechs for tie-ups

- Internally discuss on the products / solutions to be offered in coordination with the Regions

- Offer value proposition to the prospect

- Organise empanelment work shop to get all involved related to the on-boarding

- Handling various tenders and preparation of the application document.

- Follow up and close the open issues

- Work on the agreement and other formalities

- Handover to the relationship team

Handling NBFCs/ Banks / Payment Banks :

- Understanding the partnership trends with various banks / financial entities

- Coordinating with these entities / our Regional Managers for entry level meeting and basic engagement

- Following at regular intervals for ensuring tie-ups

- Preparation of presentations / value proposition plan for these entities

- One stop relationship manager for tie-ups with these entities

- Handling various tenders and preparation of the application document.

- Organise empanelment process

- Work on the pre-bids /tenders / expression of interests etc and provide the necessary data / communication

- Work on the closure and handover to the relationship team.
