Franchise Development Manager Position Summary :

- Responsible for the sales process from initial solicitation through contract completion. Includes identifying and sourcing prospective new franchisees, pipeline maintenance and adherence to sales processes. Must passionately represent the brand(s) and be able to ethically coach prospects through the discovery process, financing resolution and market development

Key Responsibilities :

- A franchise manager oversees new franchisees and provides training and information on the business policies and procedures. He is responsible for finding and developing new franchisees for the business

- Initial contact with prospects The franchisor is responsible for maintaining overall brand reputation, awareness, and development. Brand reputation management and growth

- An operations manual, marketing and advertising support and assistance in setting up are typically included in the franchise package.

- Franchisees get a blueprint on how to succeed in the chosen business system when investing in a franchise, which really is a proven business system with the supporting business package and established brand. It is their responsibility to market the brand locally, follow the operating guidelines and use the support systems to attract and retain customers.

- Other responsibilities include maintaining the franchisors standards, methods, techniques and marketing strategies.

- Be the brand ambassador for all brands represented Able to build awareness in respective territories for the brands represented

- Provide tools to assist in achieving goals

- Must be able to influence others, identify and overcome objections

- Able to grasp concepts quickly and communicate effectively across team members

- Proactive problem solving, solutions oriented.

- Must be driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit franchise development manager knowledge / skills

- 4 year experience in Business or a related field is desired.

- 4+ years of proven accomplishment within Franchise Sales

- Able to travel- Will attend trade shows, conduct market visits with prospects as necessary.

- Must be able to speak passionately and knowledgeably about the brand(s) and business. Managers should have a bachelor's degree in business management or marketing for the position of a franchise manager.
