QikPod - Business Development Executive (1-4 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities :

- Compensation: 25-35% above market for high potential candidates.

- Multiple openings available

- A role with high level of independence, leadership required and growth potential.

- Independently visit prospective sites for deployment of QikPod lockers apartment buildings, office complexes, gate communities, retail locations, colleges.

- Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization.

- Present the QikPod solution to prospective clients and report back reactions to proposal.

- Set up meetings between client decision makers and QikPod's Regional Manager/business development leaders.

- Close new- business- deals by methodical follow-ups, coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with- business- operations.

- Prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information.

- Build a pipeline of prospective sites at various stages of business development/closure, and constantly nurture this pipeline of prospects towards positive closure, accepting the QikPod solution as a host.

- Monitor customer satisfaction levels with sites acquired, be their primary point of contact and seek references/introductions from them - build a relationship and manage the account.

Requirements:

- Graduates with minimum 1 year plus of experience in business development, sales, extensive field work/ operations or channel marketing.

- Excellent spoken & written English, spoken local language skills.

- Flexible team player who is well organized, and very professional.

- High energy and enthusiasm.

- Willingness and ability to travel extensively around Greater Mumbai by own 2 wheeler and/or local train (will be reimbursed expenses).

- Has a smart phone with 3G facility (will be given allowance for local calls/data/SMS).

- Has his own tablet/basic laptop to be used for work purposes.

- Willing to work on 3rd party payroll (will receive formal appointment letter, payslips, statutory benefits).

- Compensation: 25-35% above market for high potential candidates.

QikPod is a smart, cloud-enabled, IoT start-up that intersects with e-Commerce and logistics. It is a network of smart, automated parcel lockers that allow the unattended delivery and pick up of e-commerce and other parcels.

- The consumer does not have to be home or in the office to receive parcels from the courier delivery persons as they will be delivering into a smart locker and consumer later picks up the parcel at their preferred time. In the fully built out state there will be in excess of 10,000 locations in the network across all metros, and Tier 1, 2 & 3 cities. We have funding commitments from leading VCs and other very high profile, nationally recognized angel investors and leading e-commerce/logistics companies.
