Job description:

PurpleRain is a US-headquartered 8+ year old close-knit, fully distributed bootstrapped and profitable product startup with a 50+ rock star team members who enjoy the challenge of solving hard problems together with inc 500 clients globally through our B2B SaaS products.

We are a hybrid remote company, with in-house teams in Bangalore, London and remote teams globally in 20+ countries where each employee works from home or a co-working space.

Even though we're far away, we're in contact throughout the day in Slack, Basecamp and Zoom.

We encourage continual education through weekly lunch and learns and taking courses to keep us ahead of the latest advancements with yearly retreats.

The Right Candidate Will:

- Become an expert at using lead generation tools to generate lists of target prospect accounts

- Qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions

- Schedule discovery calls for our inside sales team

- Be proficient at using a sales development platform to execute the outreach process consisting of phone, email, and social touches

- Research, identify and qualify key players to develop a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities

- Execute strategic campaigns to senior level decision makers + influencers (ie. CMO, VP, Director of Marketing)

- Schedule discovery calls + meetings to introduce the value-proposition of Sailthru's innovative suite of products + solutions

- Exceed quota related to qualifying leads and new revenue objectives

- Collaborate with our marketing team to leverage collateral and inform lead generation initiatives

- Maintain a strong understanding of the marketing technology industry + landscape

Top characteristics and traits for a successful SDR:

- Bachelor's Degree required

- 1-3 years experience in an SDR/BDR role, lead generation, or similar

- Experience in SaaS and/or B2B Software

- Salesforce (or similar CRM) experience desired

- Ability and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication written/oral
