Product Manager


Marketing Management :

- Develop & facilitate implementation of Local Business Plans in line with the principles of Marketing EDGE

- Collect feedback on promotional activity and constantly evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing plans, and introduces improvements

- Provide market research/market information to Sales and Marketing Heads

- Assesses market research data, competitor promotion and advertising and introduce timely actions

- Create new approaches to develop the product promotion

- Controls and coordinates the various activities associated with executing marketing plans in co-operation with other departments and outside agencies (communication related)

- Maintains contacts with KOL's, plans their activities with regard to assigned products

- Prepares, analyses and reports on the progress of the plans, and market share/sales objectives

- Product/ brand P&L responsibility

- Scan market, identify & evaluate opportunities for existing brand basket

- Launch of new products (identifying launch strategy, preparing launch plans, training sales force)

Sales Management :

- Responsible for the achievement of overall sales objectives of the brands

- Training and communication of product strategies and promotional campaigns to sales staff

- Co-ordinating overall marketing activities and statewise/zonal requirements of the sales team

- Field work of minimum 5 days in a month

Resources Management :

- Plan, budget & obtain approval for marketing activities

- Monitor expenses for promotion

- Facilitate exceptional promotional activities for service to customer in order to optimize utilization of available resources

Planning :

- Coordinate with Business Intelligence to identify opportunities, participate in new product launch planning and other market development activities

- Coordinate with various functions for efficient launch, initiate promotion plan in order to ensure smooth product launch.
