Product Manager - Biotechnology/Immunology (3-5 yrs)

Job description:

The Product Manager is responsible for both product marketing and sales. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with R&D team, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities:

The Product Manager is expected to

- Define the product strategy and roadmap

- Develop sales tools and collateral like product presentations, launch presentations, market validation, distributor management, inventory management, social media activities, press release, preparing marketing flyer, IFU, MSDS etc.

- Be an expert with respect to the competition

- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals

- Deliver a monthly revenue forecast

- Propose an overall budget to ensure success

- Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings

- The person should keep an overview on the local & global GMO regulatory situation by participation in GMO associations and knowledge exchange with peers in Europe.

- Act as a leader within the company

- Dedicate 30 % of time for national and international sales.

Marketing responsibilities :

- Conducting market research to target top potential international markets for GMO ELISA and LFS kits.

- Designing and implementing marketing plans for company products for international market.

- Working with the international sales team to develop targeted sales strategies.

- Tracking international and national sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.

- Creating and presenting sales performance reports - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.

Requirements :

- Min of a Bachelor's degree. MBA is preffered.

- 3 to 5 years proven work experience as a product manager.

- Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies.

- Good project management skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

- Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past

- Exceptional customer service skills.

- Strong listening and sales skills.

- Ability to achieve targets.
