Prodo Technologies - Manager - Business Development (2-5 yrs)

- Prodo is on the hunt for exceptional salespeople, who are experts at long-term relationship building and business-to-business selling. This is a role for individuals who have previously worked in enterprise sales and have handled large ticket size orders.

- Prodo is a B2B e-commerce platform that provides bulk manufacturing of made-to-order, white-labeled, and ready available consumables. We serve mid and large clients across boundaries and industries. Prodo offers 100% customization to its clients and helps them with the best optimization for their indirect procurement needs.

- No Prodo client is the same and hence, this profile requires quick thinking and creative bend of mind to provide and conceptualize solutions for our varied clients.

- Prodo is a pre-seed funded startup.

Responsibilities :

- Generate new business opportunities and take complete ownership of large ticket B2B Sales

- Acquiring new and partnership business opportunities: following the complete sales cycle prospecting, generating -leads, meetings, requirement gathering, product demonstration, business proposal, negotiation, related documentation; closure of the lead

- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

- Developing quotes and proposals for clients

- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings

- Maintain relationships with channel partners and execute BD activities with complete ownership

- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to design posters, mailers,proposals required for the partnerships

- Working closely with the product team to give them feedback from the market and future requirements and enhancements in the products

Qualifications :

- 2-5 years of experience

- Prior exp. with brands like Moglix, Bizongo, Ofbusiness, Udaan preferred

- B2B selling experience is a must.

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field

- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role

- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty

- Should have the good general knowledge to connect with prospects and establish connections

- Strong communication skills
