Prequate - Vice President - Business Development (7-17 yrs)

- We are looking for an ambitious, organized and highly motivated professional to expand our clientele in India & Overseas (MEA, NA, Singapore, Japan). The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients and partners.

Why we are hiring for this role ?

- Today, 90% of our leads are inbound & close-rate of 70-80%. While this allows for sustainable growth, we believe that referrals as a channel are not predictable. We wish to bring in experience in having built and lead early stage funnels based on our ICP.

Your role would entail :


- End-to-end relationship management

- You will be the front of the company, end-to-end lead the process from prospecting to closures

- Consultative selling

- You will work on solution definition for projects based on broad problem statements at prospect organizations

- Fostering partnerships

- You will oversee development of partner relationships with organizations who can have a strategic fitment

- Management of public relations

- You will need to participate in partnerships that allow for visibility for the brand in target markets

Solutioning & productizing :

- Developing new frameworks for delivery for being able to deliver solutions or finding spearhead services that can scale profitably

Responsibilities :

- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

- Conduct research to identify new markets and find out specific customer needs

- Generate a lead pipeline, online and offline using various methods

- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting client-objectives

- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

- Coach existing team to develop valuable sales skills

Requirements :

Must haves :

- You will need to be highly presentable and have strong ability to manage building trust and dependence with CXOs

- Proven working experience as a business development professional or a relevant role selling to CXOs

- Proven experience in selling professional services to enterprises between $10m - $100m

- Proven lead generation skills for generating high quality and high intent leads

- Proven sales track record of working hands-on to develop and refine

- Highly self motivated and an individual contributor

- Proven reputation as a professional

- High Proficiency in English

- High Market knowledge

- Top notch communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build rapport, especially at events

- Time management and planning skills

Good to haves :

- Proficiency in setting up and managing CRM tools (Hubspot/ Zoho)

- Formal finance knowledge/education
