PolicyBazaar.com - Lead Writer - External Content

Role Purpose:

- The candidate would be responsible for curating external content for PolicyBazaar.com

- The ideal candidate would be someone coming from journalism background with minimum 4-6 years of feature writing experience

- The candidate would be directly reporting to the Head of PR & Communications

Desired Profile

- Should have excellent communication (speaking & writing) and interpersonal skills

- Should have the flair for writing attention grabbing pieces to engage readers. Should have the ability to write catchy headlines and promotional pieces

- Should have fair amount of understanding about personal finance, having experience in developing content for BFSI sector

- Ability to perform under multiple reporting structure

- Ability to multi-task

- Ability to deliver quality content/ articles under extreme pressure and rigid timelines

- Should be able to work in sync with BU heads/ company representatives

- Should have fair amount of interest in the internet, social media forums and web communications

- Should be proactive and have a positive attitude towards work

Job Description

- Content creation - develop well-researched and high-quality articles for external stakeholders

- Create white papers, speech notes, award entries and reference documents for company spokespersons

- Put together background information, coordinate with fellow team members, BU heads for writing articles on range of topics

- Edit and shape executive communications, as per requirement

- Build and sustain networks & relationships internally

Educational Qualification

- Post Graduate preferably in Mass Communications or Journalism or equivalent qualification in Business Management
