Plum has forged new underwriting and fraud detection algorithms to enable companies as small as 2 to benefit from a group insurance. The platform enables realtime insurance design & pricing to enable companies to buy insurance in 3-clicks. And offers employees a hassle-free claims experience through an integrated digital process.

About the role :

- Having found exceptional product/market fit, we- re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to - scale-up-, and are looking for rockstar Senior Sales Associates to capitalise on the huge demand for our product.

- We are looking for passionate entrepreneurs, builders, and straight-up hustlers to help us build something special. We- re looking for outstanding tech salespeople who have consistently hit targets and thrive in taking full ownership of the sales cycle, from lead generation through to closing. You- ll be an articulate presenter and a strategic planner but above all, dynamic and goal-oriented.

- We don't pretend that it'll be easy - Joining a company and embarking on the scale-up phase is an amazing challenge, pushing well beyond the boundaries of natural growth cycles. You- ll move quicker than feels comfortable, and be brilliant at continually re-prioritizing what must get done to keep Plum growing month over month at the pace of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history.

P.S. This is a quota-carrying role.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Manage and forecast a sales pipeline on your own

2. Present Plum to CXOs & senior executives in client meetings

3. Communicate constantly with marketing and pre-sales to improve the quality of the sale pipeline

4. Navigate through complex sales cycles with some of the most prestigious companies in India

5. Ensure a high level of responsiveness with prospects through the sales process

6. Proactively source new leads and new business opportunities, with the support of the sales development and marketing functions

7. Research accounts to understand the need, enable effective follow-up, and generate interest

8. Become an expert in insurance, CRM systems, and our product suite

Experience and Qualifications :

1. At least 3-6 years of sales experience; preferably at a fast-growing BFSI/SaaS startup/consulting/B2B Sales

2. The ability to work with tight targets and timelines

3. The ability to pitch complex ideas & a product in a simple, compelling way

4. The ability to execute highly credible and articulate face-to-face, over the phone, and email conversations

5. A highly professional and results driven outlook

6. A high degree of coachability and great listening skills
