About the role :

- Having found exceptional product/market fit, we- re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to - scale-up', and are looking for rockstar Sales Reps to capitalise on the huge demand for our product.

- We're looking for outstanding salespeople who would own the top of the funnel (TOFU) by doing lead generation (via cold calling and cold emailing) to sales qualification (managing inbound and nurturing). You- ll be an articulate presenter and a strategic planner but above all, dynamic and goal-oriented.

- We don't pretend that it'll be easy - joining a company and embarking on the scale-up phase is an amazing challenge, pushing well beyond the boundaries of natural growth cycles. You- ll move quicker than feels comfortable, and be brilliant at continually re-prioritizing what must get done to keep Plum growing month over month at the pace of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history.

P.S. This is a non-quota carrying role.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Generate demand using efficient outbound tools like LinkedIn and cold emails. (Outbound prospecting)

2. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. (Inbound qualification and nurture)

3. Achieve monthly and quarterly goals of qualified leads and opportunities

4. Drive active engagement with prospects to increase interest and excitement in our products

5. Nurture leads and effectively work with marketing teams to convert them into opportunities

6. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

7. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives

Experience and Qualifications :

1. A track record for exceeding targets in sales, ideally in a start-up, or 1 - 3 years in a high-performing professional environment.

2. A fair understanding of sales performance metrics

3. Strong communication skills via phone and email

4. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to deliver engaging presentations

5. Experience working with a CRM (added advantage)

6. Experience with lead gen tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, and ZoomInfo. (added advantage)

7. Experience with marketing and email tools such as Hubspot Marketing Hub, Mailchimp, and YAMM. (added advantage)
