PloPdo - Sales Development Role (2-4 yrs)

Role Summary :

- As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in lead generation and setting up meetings.

- You will be responsible for tailoring your messaging according to clients' needs, setting up meetings through various channels, and managing the entire outbound process by reaching out to founders and senior leaders in startups from seed to series B stage.

What you will do ?

- Work from lead generation to setting up meetings.

- Tailor messaging according to clients' needs.

- Set up meetings using different channels.

- Manage the entire outbound process by reaching out to founders/senior leaders in startups from seed to series B stage.

- Set up meetings with our sales team based on the inbound leads that come in.

You should have :

- Experience with deal sizes ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 or INR 10 lakhs to 50 lakhs.

- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the US and India markets.

- 1.5 to 4 years of SDR experience.

- Experience in selling products rather than services.

- Preferably have worked with senior leadership in an early-stage startup.

- We value folks who can write content like we write at buildd and our Twitter and our LinkedIn handles

- Knowledge about how startups (Pre-seed to Series-B funded) and their stakeholder function, would be a great plus.

- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

- Analytical and data-driven - you should be comfortable analyzing data and patterns to drive decision-making processes.

- Intrinsically motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for the tech-hiring and start-up ecosystem.

Expectations in Week 1

- Have a solid understanding of our talent network, product offerings, and the specific needs and preferences of our clients.

Expectations till Month 1

- Understanding of tech keywords and jargon, such as react.js, node.js, JavaScript, etc.

- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and the product lifecycle.

- Successful onboarding and the achievement of setting up 5 to 10 meetings.

Expectations till Month 6

- Demonstrated proficiency in metrics tracking and data analysis.

- Clear progression towards becoming either an SDR leader or maintaining a strong individual contributor role.

- Consistently delivering results that contribute to the team's success.
