Platform Manager - Digital Marketing - FMCG (1-3 yrs)

The Platform Manager is the online connection between the company and consumers. A business-critical role, the manager is responsible to implement the business and product roadmap across Digital Platforms and Marketplaces. The role is responsible for being the key link between sales platforms and the marketing team driving traffic and business to the platforms. These platforms include all online sales touchpoints, including but not limited to:

- Website

- Marketplaces (Amazon, PayTM, Snapdeal, Flipkart, Scootsy, etc.)

- Other Ecommerce Platforms

Core Role (day-to-day) :

- Responsible for day to day business operation of the e digital platform landscape (eCom, CMS, CRM)

- Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and UX/Content teams to leverage the platform tools to optimize campaigns and functionality

- Lead the definition and improvement of business operational processes as they relate to the platform and platform tools

- Includes understanding business opportunities, understanding the front-end technical landscape, and creating solutions that will support the business team in achieving their objectives

- Drive the process to source new platforms and prioritize key platform enhancements on existing platforms

- Develop into the subject matter expert for front-end tools and technology

- Collaborate with other teams on the larger digital ecosystem, driving digital needs and priorities

- Manage projects, as needed

Business Critical Role :

- Study and analyze data, share reports and business intelligence with management with regards to all online platform sales

- Work with marketing team to provide input on product listings to ensure it meets business and consumer needs

- Responsibilities include sharing platform insights at team meetings and collaborating with team members, following up along the way until the deadline for each requirement

- Over time, the candidate must become the subject matter expert for the team, answering questions and providing guidance for all team projects regarding online sales

- First line of communication internally and externally for troubleshooting and other questions

- Helping the business run smoothly, increasing the number of platforms, the efficiency and output of each platform and driving sales

- Understanding, gathering, documenting, and communicating product data effectively to cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations & Logistics)
