Area Sales Manager - Modern Trade - Delhi / Uttar Pradesh (Entire)

Responsibilities:

- Handle accounts for National modern trade, E-commerce & standalone chains.

- Accountable for revenue generation and monitoring competitor's activities, etc.

- Mentoring and providing training to the existing team for better understanding of the market

- Involved in recruiting new staff for the organization. (Promoter & Merchandiser, Senior Merchandiser)

- Successfully designing and implementing strategies for a focused brand and achieving agreed target for the department.

- Sharing best practice of Trade Marketing and Execution.

- Assuring the timely implementation of category and brand input plans.

- Enlarging section as a business contributing unit for the circle and branch through handling outlet level planning, budgeting, utilization of resources

- Negotiation & generation of POs from local buying managers, servicing of POs in co-ordination with supply chain for stocks

- Ensuring 100% fill rates to MT accounts by managing stocks at distribution centre & right forecasting.

- Handling Trade Activations for MT accounts in assigned territory for merchandising activities like new launches, visibility and promotions conducted at the account & customer service through generate sales.

- Handling team comprising of Sr. Merchandisers, Merchandiser & Promoters at the outlet level for merchandising.

- Execution of daily plan and weekly plan and monitor the Sr. merchandiser/Merchandisers/Promoter working the market.

- Supervise DSR, Sr. Merchandiser/Merchandiser/Promoter daily and achieve target assigned to them.

- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of DSR and channel.

- Get the logistics of stock smoothly from Warehouse to retailers.

- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners

- Focus on maximum primary stock in the store through ARS/Manual orders.

- Ensuring proper merchandising in the store, Visibility, Signage, Gobbler and timely replenishment of stock (FIFO).
