Your Profile :


- As a Key Account Manager for Modern Trade, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key retail partners in the modern trade sector. Your role is pivotal in driving sales, increasing brand visibility, and ensuring the overall success of the beauty brand's products within the modern trade channel.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience in key account management, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.

- Strong understanding of modern trade retail dynamics and trends.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Roles & Responsibilities :


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at modern trade accounts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of strategies.

Sales and Revenue Generation :

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals for beauty brand products.

- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.

- Monitor sales performance and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.

Negotiation and Contract Management :

- Negotiate terms, pricing, promotions, and trade spend agreements with modern trade partners to ensure profitable business relationships.

- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.


Category Management and Merchandising :

- Collaborate with merchandising teams to optimize product assortment, shelf space, and placement in modern trade stores.

- Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive consumer engagement.

Marketing and Promotions :

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, events, and activations to drive brand awareness and sales.

- Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.

Forecasting and Inventory Management :

- Collaborate with supply chain and demand planning teams to accurately forecast product demand and manage inventory levels.

- Minimize stockouts and overstocks by ensuring optimal inventory turnover.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.

- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics and actionable insights.

Market Expansion :

- Identify potential new modern trade partners and assess market entry opportunities to expand the beauty brand's presence.

- Lead negotiations and onboarding processes for new accounts
