Summary : 


The role will entail developing in-depth understanding of Key Accounts of different industry verticals - F&B / Hospitality / FMCG / FMCD / Healthcare & Wellness / Lifestyle.

Responsibilities : 


- The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving renewals of our merchants and ensuring that they derive maximum value from the use of PhonePe. 


- To achieve this, the account manager will interact regularly with the merchants and build a strong lasting relationship and drives improvements to the merchant's usage of PhonePe and drives adoption of new features that help merchants. 


- To work as a single point of contact between merchant & PhonePe to understand the merchant's requirement and offer solutions within the deadline 


- To engage with merchants on a regular basis to build a long-lasting relationship 


- Maintaining good relationships and finding opportunities for upsells to offer all in one solution 


- Account management 


- Acquire new merchants 


- Manage schedule and prioritize well, in order to meet deadlines

Requirements : 


- MBA from Tier 2/3 campus with excellent academic record 


- Proven working experience of 3-5 years in sales/business development with at-least 3 year in modern trade / Key account management 


- Strong ethics and discretion while dealing with customers 


- Drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics 


- Strong bias for action, problem solving and ownership 


- Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders 


- Exposure to start up environment is an added advantage. 


- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks 


- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. 


- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
