Urgent Requirement - Sales and Marketing Intern

PetKonnect is a community based online aggregation platform for Pet parents. We aim to build a holistic solution for all pet-care needs including pet products (food, accessories, healthcare, etc) and services (trainers, groomers veterinarians, etc). We have launched an e-commerce marketplace platform with a wide range of products as well as India's first online pharmacy exclusively for pets.

The sales and marketing team will be responsible for driving awareness and generating revenues from:

Supply side - Negotiations and On-boarding of Vendors, service providers and managing their ad spends

Demand side - Services and products procured by pet-parents and other users

Duration - 3 months

Stipend - Paid

Position: Sales and Marketing Intern

Job Location: Vidyavihar Mumbai - (On-site)

Job Description : 

Supply Side :

- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate customer needs

- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on PetKonnect products and services to potential Product / Service partners

- Negotiate with Vendors and Service providers for successful partnerships, based on weekly and monthly targets

- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

- Actively seek out new partnership / on-boarding opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media

- Set up meetings with current / potential partners and take recurring feedback

- Ground level sales, by approaching the vendors or service providers directly

Demand Side :

- Create weekly reviews and reports with sales and financial data

- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations

- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results

- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

- Assist the team in online social media marketing and PR.

- Generate bi-weekly and monthly reports on the cost-benefit of the active marketing channels

- Explore different channels for marketing, and create strategies for increasing user base, and sales

- Handle customer queries, if any

Requirements :

Proficiency in English.
