Overview :

Our very own sharpshooters who ensure that the profile acquisition metrics are always in the green. When they aren't busy scaling business, you'll find them decoding search algorithms, dabbling with cutting edge tools, running new experiments and sharpening their knives for the next attack

Role :

The person will serve as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the performance of all Shaadi.com and Sangam.com earned media (i.e. ranking and reputation on web/mobile/stores, rich snippets for relevant and potential keywords to the business category). The most valuable traits we are looking for in this role are:

What you will do in this role

- Stay on top of current search engine news, trends, SEO / ASO / ORM best practices, and emerging items of interest and share these with the rest of the team, Managers, developers, etc.

- Creating specifications for on-page, off-page and metadata optimization of all earned media assets after doing keyword research. Coordination with the technical, brand and product team to get it implemented

- Monitor competitor sites and the general marketplace and ensure that our assets maintain competitive advantages in SEO, ASO and ORM in terms of ranking and acquisition

- Technical analysis for SEO, ASO & ORM and sharing optimization specifications with the technical team as per the insights

- Coordination with third party vendors for key initiatives like link building and content marketing

- Report keyword and category ranking on a weekly and monthly basis and the impact & reason for changes in ranking, traffic and acquisition

What you should have

- At least 1-2 years of experience in SEO, ASO and Content Marketing

- Awareness about latest updates in algorithm for Google Search, PlayStore and App Store

- Good understanding of the earned media landscape with demonstrable experience in SEO, ASO and content marketing

- Strong fundamentals and working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, Ahref, Google Play Console, App Store Console, App Tweak, App Annie, Page Speed Insights and SimilarWeb

Brownie Points

- Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, speaking, and collaboration skills

- Direct work experience in a consumer internet company in India

- Some knowledge of SQL
