JOB PURPOSE:

The "business to business" sales professional should be able to prospect target account for new business, maintain an existing territory of business as well as establish and work with partners.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

- Graduate / MBA in marketing.

- 1 - 5 years work experience in the Publishing /Education sector.

- Good communication skills.

- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Initiative, resourcefulness and attention to detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Adoption of HE books in his territory.

- Work closely with BOS of colleges in his territory for enhancing adoption base.

- Achieve sales targets 4. Service distributors. Collect orders and payments on time.

- Resolve distributors- issues in consultation with Area Sales Manager/Senior Sales Executive.

- Ensure availability and visibility of HE books in the retail channel in his territory.

- Grow existing market by maximizing adoptions and develop new markets. Enhance market share across disciplines.

- Generate good publishing leads for both national and regional curriculum requirements.

- Help promotion department to update company's database on regular basis.

- Submit weekly report on time.

- Feedback on new markets and competitor activities.

- Update the system on promotion stock and make new adoptions regularly.
