Assistant Vice President - Payment Gateway/Business Acquiring


Objective :


- Responsible for leading India acquiring business, managing existing bank acquirers/Payment gateways. Also, responsible to acquire/onboard new acquirers/Banks as part of monthly/annual KRA.

Key Responsibilities :


- Responsible for heading India acquiring business, including onboarding new acquirers and also managing the existing PayMate acquiring relationships which are an integral part of the business model

- Should be able to identify new acquirers/payment gateways and go to market, to initiate partnerships and business relations with all market acquirers/gateways.

- Important P&L level role and would serve as excellent business exposure for the incoming candidate with a lot of scope for future growth in the organization.

- Responsible for travel to other cities for strategic meetings with banks/acquirers/gateways.

- Responsible for leading all integration discussions with all such acquirers with the intention of payment gateway integration with PayMate.

- Responsible for handling legal documentation involved including NDA's / agreements with all such acquirers, expected to liaison with internal legal and compliance teams.

- Responsible for inter-department coordination of strategic and operational discussions with various internal stakeholders.

Previous Experience :

- Background can be from bank acquiring/ PG/ payment gateway experience, handling acquiring for merchants/clients.

- Preference will be given to candidates with strong past B2B enterprise-level experience

- Should possess strong business management/relationship management skills and experience, along with excellent negotiation skills.
