Patvin - Resdential Sales Manager (4-8 yrs)

We invite applications for the position of Residential Sales Manager for Delhi (NCR) / Chennai / Bangalore / Ahmedabd & Pune location (1 position each location) who have worked for industrial or capital goods sales.

PURPOSE OF JOB :

To profitably grow the sales of PATVIN within India through effective implementation of sales / marketing programs, identifying and satisfying customers / users requirements, and effective management of the sales team. The Sales Manager will work closely with Management & Marketing to maximize revenue of all PATVIN product lines in India

JOB RESULT AREAS :

- Sales growth / market penetration / share growth.

- Maintain a Stable, well trained team of sales engineers

- Effective program implementation / execution.

- Well defined plans / objectives for self as well as team members

- Executes all management plans on sales and diversification

- Effective upward and lateral communication.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES / DUTIES :

Sales growth / market penetration / share growth

- Meet / Exceed sales revenue goals

- Manage daily activities of field sales staff Coordination,guidance and daily reporting of field sales staff

- Explore and, as appropriate, implement strategies and tactics to increase penetration of key markets and grow market share.

- Directly contact key major accounts and customers

- Identify root cause and follow-up to make certain that customer complaints have been resolved and customer requirements met. Manage the application of resources for corrective action.

- Manages assigned Key accounts and maximize revenues from them

- Manage MIS on Sales and provide executive summary to management on a weekly basis

Stable / well-trained team

- Recruit, select, and train a sales team capable of identifying users fluid handling needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

- Train, coach, and follow-up to assure that all members of the team are systematically working to defined plans and objectives.

- Develop a "team" environment.

- Deploy sales resource in such a way as to obtain maximum impact.

- Management of team expenses within or below budget.

- Ensure team maintains training/demo equipment account according to corporate requirements.

- Effective program implementation, execution

- Input to product, marketing and sales program planning.

- Execute product, market, and sales programs.

- Use local marketing planner, target accounts and sales action plans.

- Furnish appropriate feedback to Marketing & Management on program fit and results.

Well defined plans / objectives :

- Participate in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan.

- Prepare the region annual sales and business plans for each sales team member

- Assign revenue targets to each member of sales team

Coach members of the sales team to prepare :

- Annual objectives

- Key account plans

- Weekly call plans

- Monthly sales plans.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Essential :

- successful sales management in Industrial sales / capital goods

- 5 to 6 years in Sales Manager position managing at least a team of 12 - 15 Industrial sales engineers

- Excellent knowledge of industrial products and markets especially Pneumatic, Hydraulic products

- Ability to effectively develop and implement sales/marketing strategies and initiatives both short and long term.

- Decision-making, planning and analytical skills.

- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals at all organized levels both internal and external.

- English fluency.

- Effective oral, written and presentation skills.

- Sales management training, effective leadership and effective training / coaching skills.

- Ability to work successfully without close supervision.

- Willingness to travel 70% of the time.

Desirable :

- BE Mechanical or equivalent degree

- MBA/PGDBM in Marketing

- Technical background.
