About This Job:

- The Content Developer/Media Specialist will be responsible for the development of learning materials for Patras team members. In this role, you will:

- Assist in creating best-in-class learning programs for learners in a variety of roles, both as they onboard to their roles and for ongoing capability development.

- Develop and deploy learning content in partnership with instructional designers and other learning team members.

- Champion a culture of learning and people development throughout Patra.

- The ideal candidate will be experienced in the application of adult learning science and principles to deliver learning solutions that drive lasting impact.

Core Duties :

- Build trust and relationships with global stakeholders and learning team members.

- Collaborate with team members and product/program owners to develop and regularly update training content for work processes.

- Document processes and workflows. Create and keep associated job aids up-to-date.

- Contribute to development of learning standards, templates, and best practices.

- Collaborate with instructional designers to identify the expected outcomes and format of the learning experiences you'll help develop.

- Apply ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick and other recognized models to rapidly design, develop and publish engaging course content and learning activities for ILT, online and virtual modalities with continuous evaluation/improvement cycles for the course content.

- Identify best delivery methods for meeting learning objectives. Where needed, adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually from face-to-face to eLearning and virtual).

- Author training material using authoring tools including Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline, and Review), Vyond, Canva, the Patra Learning Management System, and other common tools.

- Develop course content including: graphics, scenarios, simulations, audio scripts, progress checks and knowledge assessments.

- Create engaging and valid training evaluation exercises to evaluate training effectiveness and successful knowledge transfer.

- Create and test prototypes. Gather audience feedback and modify learning experience to better-align with specific needs and intended outcomes.

- Deploy learning resources and courses through multiple synchronous and asynchronous online environments.

- Produce virtual learning experiences, workshops, and webinars.

- Partner with LMS admin and operations stakeholders to maintain learning content and knowledge management repositories.

- Drive a continuous learning and growth mindset to build organizational capability and support current and future skill needs.

- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the latest trends, best practices, and methods as they relate to adult learning theory and learning technologies. Ensure experiential learning is leveraged to accelerate development.

Minimum Requirements Education & Experience :

- Two+ years experience in learning/training/people development, preferably in a corporate environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate, build effective relationships and influence peers and key stakeholders to achieve results.

- Experience leveraging adult learning methodologies, standards, learning modalities, learning management systems, eLearning authoring tools (Articulate suite preferred), and MS Office.

- Experience with multimedia development and graphic design concepts and applications (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)

- Experience with SCORM and xAPI publishing standards

- Familiarity with LMS administration and reporting

- Familiarity with information design concepts

- Insurance industry experience a plus.

- Cross-cultural experience a plus.

- Skilled in all aspects of instructional design including needs assessment, design, development, implementing and evaluating learning with a demonstrated track record of introducing and driving innovative programs that lead to tangible and measurable results.

- Ability to occasionally flex hours to collaborate with team members in other countries.
