Position Title : Business Development Executive

Overview of Position :

The Business Development Executive main responsibility will be convert qualified leads into closed contracts. As an agency that works with clients to build digital products such as web and mobile apps, the Business Development Executive follow the consultative sales approach to close deals. With this approach, you need to guide and provide recommendations from both - a product strategy and technical perspective to the clients.

To put this in perspective, let's take an example. If a client is building out a fitness mobile app where people form groups and compete with each other to lose the most amount of weight in a given time-period. Is up to you to do preliminary research of other apps in the market, and also provide some product features. Its up to you as well to guide the technical implementation. You will be provided training (if needed) on the technical aspect of things and also on how to think thru different product features.

Specific Responsibilities :

- nurture those leads through a consultative sales approach

- connect with clients via email, text, phone, and social media

- writing functionality documents by different user types

- creating detailed proposals

- performing Knowledge Transfer

- update the CRM and Sales Operations Team about the progress

- meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas

Ideal Candidate Description :

- Past experience setting appointments for Digital Marketing and or Web and Mobile Development Agency

- An American Accent

- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone

- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems

- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

- Excellent knowledge of English

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection

- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints

- Past experience working during American Business Hours

- Know basics and working knowledge of Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM, Online Lead Generation, Conversion Optimization) along with web and mobile technologies (Javascript, React Native, WordPress).

- To be clear, you do not have to implement these things or know how to code; but need a working knowledge as these are the services we sell.
