Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Developing new collections conceptualize / develop unique designs. New Product Development.

- Deep understanding on Metal / Stone ratios and its impact on price.

- Expertise in developing the design with the vendors.

- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers- expectations and company's objectives.

- Assess the market trend by researching the market, taking cues from exhibitions and interacting with customers & designers.

- Vendor coordination

- Forecasting and Monitoring stock levels and key deliveries.

- Daily monitoring of the stock / product / sales.

- Analysis of best sellers

- Understanding the market trends and ensuring the products are available.

- Good understanding of the current stock, and avoid design duplication.

Domain Knowledge :

- Understanding Perseus Metal especially Platinum

- Deep understanding of diamond characteristic from the stages of Mining to Cut and Polishing / Assortment, Studding and the 4C's of Diamond viz. Colure, Clarity, Cerate and Cut.

- Design efficacy

- Consumer preferences and Competitor activities

- Design Trends

- NO. of stock turns

- Zero loss due to non-ability

Experience :

- 7 of experience of which at least past 2 years as category In-Charge.

- Exposure to platinum and or Studded Jewellery is essential

- Should dealt with a minimum of 2000 Pieces of jewellery at a time

Skills :

- Analytical with ability to give attention to details & presentation skills

- Analytical skills with strong commercial acumen and strong numerical skills

- Excellent communication, written/verbal and negotiating skills with the ability to influence

- Team working skills
