Responsibilities :

Customer Acquisition :

- Identify and pursue potential new customers in the logistics and transportation industry.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

- Visit client offices to introduce the company's services and discuss potential business opportunities.

Sales and Quote Management :

- Collect customer requirements and provide tailored quotations for services based on their needs.

- Ensure timely follow-ups and conversion of leads into successful partnerships.

- Coordination with Business Development Manager

- Work closely with the Business Development (BD) Manager to understand market trends and customer needs.

- Take leads from the BD manager and assist in developing strategies to convert those leads into customers.

Lead Generation :

- Identify new leads and opportunities within the logistics and transportation industry.

- Conduct market research to spot trends and potential areas of growth.

Business Growth :

- Contribute to the overall growth of the logistics business by targeting new sectors, expanding current partnerships, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

- Develop strategies to increase the customer base and retain existing clients.

Reporting & Feedback :

- Provide regular reports on sales activities, lead status, and business development initiatives.

- Offer feedback on customer needs and competitor activities to the BD manager for market positioning

Requirements :

- Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the logistics and transportation industry.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to identify and understand customer needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.

- Self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented with a passion for growing business opportunities.

- Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.

- Willingness to travel for customer visits and meetings.
