Openhouse - Education Counsellor (1-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :


- Own end-to-end sales journey for new and returning customers

- Build relationships with parents and students through continued engagement, primarily over phone and text

- Sharply identify customers- needs and pain points, and counsel them appropriately in order to convert to closure

- Support sales process through accurate and timely data entry on CRM and other data management tools

- Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure seamless operations

Preferred mindset :

- Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, start-up environment

- Ability to adapt to change, execute fast, and learn

- High attention to detail, comfort in managing multiple leads with different needs at various stages in the user journey at the same time

- Persistence, patience, and grit in the sales process with ability to deal with failure

- Empathetic, high on communication, self-starter who can be hands-on in managing parent/student/teacher relationships and solving unexpected situations

- Appreciate role of data in supporting process, and informing strategic decision-making

Desired experience:

- Bachelor's degree

- Fluency in written and spoken English, and spoken Hindi required; familiarity with Kannada or Bengali nice-to-have

- Internship or project-based experience exemplifying the mindset highlighted above Experience in sales, customer service or other customer-facing roles strongly preferred Helped build communities in the past
