About the CEO and Co-Founder:

Ahana Gautam is an experienced operator with a passion to build and grow the biggest consumer brands in India. She has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She started her career at P&G where she worked across multiple functions - supply chain, finance and marketing. Ahana grew her passion for food brands at General Mills in the US where she launched natural and organic products.

Job Role:

- Developing an annual business plan for assigned accounts to ensure that the plan is achievable, and regularly conduct monthly, quarterly business reviews, and yearly business reviews with customers.

- Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with accounts in order to gain strong collaboration in mutually driving business objectives and to get a better position in negotiating for the agreement and business development plans.

- Monitoring category and brands performance against market, evaluating the effectiveness of promotions, activities, and taking corrective action, as needed to ensure achievement of business goals.

- Planning sales forecast in details for all store formats to ensure supply accuracy

- Be active and flexible to manage, adapt and revise the customers plans under unexpected business circumstance

Responsible for the Primary and Secondary sale for all General Trade:

- Design and monitor individual and team sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

- Regularly conduct retail outlet audits to study market share movements and track market share.

- Concentrate on strong tracks for volume growth & weak tracks to build brand image and generate growth.

- Work with the team to correct market working discipline, daily targets vs achievement tracking.

- Responsible for developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.

- Establish the process of monitoring the performance of individuals and teams by proper reporting and communications mechanisms involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings etc. and individual growth plans.

- Design and execute volume promotions and special offers to achieve short term & long term volume objectives and increase trade advocacy & increase share in state / territory.

- Plan & execute consumer centric activities in the state - focus on generating trials and increase penetration.

Responsible for the promotional budget for the brands at the retail level.

- Utilisation of local sales promotional & merchandising activities, monthly schemes at the point of sale for achieving sales target and brand awareness.

- Regional Budgets (contract, spend mgmt). Maintain the organisation standard wrt. Quality, distribution, visibility, promotion, price and persuasion at the outlets. Manage the new product launches and new outlet launches.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience required as a Regional Sales Manager in GT.

- Candidates from Ecommerce/ FMCG background would be an added advantage
