Social Media Intern Sports
- Digital2 Sports - Social Media Intern (Paid)
- The Intern will have the ability and responsibility to play an integral, hands-on role in the growth and enhancement of the Digital2 Sports social platforms.
Responsibilities :
- Work with the content and creative teams to develop engaging digital/social media content from concept to completion with the opportunity to own and execute original content.
- Timely posting error-free content on multiple social platforms with different adaptations.
- Anticipating sequence of sporting events and being prepared with the content for timely creation and post.
- Contribute to daily research, collaborative ideation and execution of social-specific programming.
- Monitor activity on social platforms in the sports space, focusing on Cricket, Football and current trends.
- Monitor social media posts/comments, replies, etc. on a regular basis to understand feedback.
- Help to identify social media influencers within the sports industry.
- Assist with the reporting and analysis of social and website metrics.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of, and passion for, Cricket and Football.
- Possesses a strong understanding of social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and a thirst for staying on top of the latest trends.
- Knowledge and understanding of sports and entertainment (media) landscapes, pop culture, etc. is a must.
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills in addition to creative thinking are essential.
- Experience with photography and videography is an added advantage
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) is an added advantage
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form are a must
- Ability to take direction and work independently is encouraged
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights and weekends as needed is required.
