- Orders are submitted using pricing lists and product information as a guide.
- Through engaging in professional societies, reading professional publications, attending educational courses, and building personal networks, one keeps up their professional and technical knowledge.
- Gathers information on pricing, items, new products, delivery dates, merchandising strategies, etc. from the market to keep track of competitors.
- By analyzing outcomes and market trends, adjustments in policies, services, and goods are recommended.
- Investigates issues, develops solutions, produces reports, and makes suggestions to management to address consumer complaints.
- Keeps track of historical data to provide historical records.
