Graphic Designer - Lead

About the role :

We are seeking a Graphic Design Lead to guide the visual communications efforts at Octet Design Studio. Working at the intersection of creativity and strategy, you will be both a strategic visual communicator and a hands-on contributor to the compelling visual expression of innovative ideas.

Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements from the design brief and translate them into meaningful creative concepts

- Work within the brand guidelines to create designs that reinforce a brand's style or voice through its visual touchpoints.

- Proof check designs created by junior graphic designers and advise on necessary changes

- Responsible for timely execution of visuals/graphics of different projects and meeting client's expectations

Desired Candidate Profile :

- A creative visionary with 3+ years of experience in graphic design, especially in social media, branding or digital advertising.

- Bachelor's degree in any field with Professional Certification in Graphic Design / Visual Design

- Strong understanding of visual design principles and practices

- Ability to lead a team of graphic designers and provide necessary guidance & support

- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills

- Expert level proficiency in design software - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw Working knowledge of Adobe XD is desirable

- Motion Graphics - 3D or Animation skills are a definite plus
