Job brief

- As a content writer you will be responsible for creating content for our web pages, blog posts, press releases, online articles and brochures.

- You will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for articles, advertisements, publications, and pamphlets.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:-

- Conceptualize and write engaging content for company's website and advertising campaigns (online listings, landing pages, blogs)

- Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed.

- Contribute to the development of the Content strategy for all our internet properties.

- Maintain confidentiality in all matters pertaining to clients, staff and any other information this position may be privy to.

- Develop unique, new concepts.

- Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns, including social media.

- Ensure campaign stays within budget.

- Create and present storyboards of ideas.

- Work with team to create ideas.

- Write clear and persuasive copy for websites, brochures, ads, and other means of advertising.

- Update digital media with timely content.

- Perform search engine optimization techniques.

- Oversee campaigns from production to completion.

- Respond to feedback in a timely manner.

- Work within tight deadlines.

- Monitor and change advertising campaigns to change effectiveness.

- Check copy for spelling and grammar errors.

- Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with the creative team.

- Write press releases

Required Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in English and Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, Internet Marketing, related field, or 2+ years relevant work experience

- Experience in Copywriting/Web Content.

- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best-practices and techniques (proven experience increasing website traffic preferred.)

- Proficient with main social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+)

- Excellent verbal and written communication ability in English.

- Thorough knowledge of grammatical rules and content; including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

- Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
