Job Description of Sales Manager

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales teams potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying plans to the senior management.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team

- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong presence

- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives

- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

- Achieve the agreed sales target set up in coordination with the sales team.

- Be fully aware of new products and competition status

- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets

- Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives

- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule

- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales, and status reports

- Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements and Key skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or a related field

- 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the Ed-tech industry particularly in the sales domain.

- Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting/exceeding targets

- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences

- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

- Strong business sense and industry expertise

- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Should have experience in giving training to new joiners

- Motivating the team
