Nitta Corporation - Area Sales Manager (7-10 yrs)

Basic Purpose & Function :

- As a member of the Sales team, responsible for supporting and growing Nitta's business in the assigned territory or region for belting products.

Responsibilities :

- Meet the budgeted Net Revenue and Gross Margin objectives.

- Identify new business opportunities and grow the business through multi-channel distribution : OEMs, End Users and Dealers, for Belting product.

- Maintaining & Increasing the Market Share in the assigned region with Proactive working with customer and much ahead than competition.

- Help for selecting correct product based on application with proper costing

- Help with preparing annual budgets with information on market potential and penetration goals.

- Market study by major industries cities and by industry potential in the assigned region.

- Ensure timely response on customer communication/requirement

- Act as customer's representative; liaise with the plant for timely delivery.

- Dealing with various customer complaints & resolving the issues thereby maintaining a long-term relationship with Customer

- Prompt follow-up and collection of payments from customers.

- Report daily activities by email weekly to the Manager

- Regular follow up on competitors' activities and update NCI Management.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. MBA will be an advantage.

- Must have proven and successful experience in growing the business at the regional level.

- Has excellent knowledge about engineering industry/Industrial consumables in the region.

- Prior experience in Industrial consumable industry with Dealer Management will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of India tax structure, sales policies and regulations.

- Experience in price/terms negotiations with customers.

- Has a proven track record with around 7-10 years' experience in selling industrial products.

- Must be fluent in the English and the regional languages.
